Ruby Lagunes serves as the Program Manager at Amigos de Guadalupe Center for Justice & Empowerment since June 2018, bringing extensive experience in community organizing and policy development. Prior roles include serving as a Policy Aide for the City of San José and a Field Organizer for Sam Liccardo's mayoral campaign, where Ruby Lagunes successfully increased voter engagement and turnout, particularly within Latino communities. Early career experiences include internships with the ACLU of San Diego & Imperial Counties and the U.S. House of Representatives, where Ruby Lagunes focused on legislative research and constituent engagement. Ruby Lagunes holds dual Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and Government from UC San Diego and University of California, Santa Cruz.
