Robert Bernstein is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property and patent law. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at Amgen since October 2022, Robert previously held roles such as Senior Director of Patents and Research at ChemoCentryx until its acquisition by Amgen and Senior Director of Intellectual Property at Plexxikon Inc. from February 2015 to April 2022. Earlier in the career, Robert worked as Senior Patent Attorney at Exelixis from July 2006 to January 2011. Robert holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor degree with an emphasis on Intellectual Property from Franklin Pierce Law Center.
