Rick Phillips, CISSP, has extensive experience in cybersecurity and communications spanning multiple organizations. Currently, Rick serves as the Security Awareness Program Manager for Amgen, spearheading educational programs to enhance human risk management in a global biotech environment. Previously, Rick held roles such as Change Management Analyst at Sempra Energy, where operational efficiencies and security posture improvements were implemented, and Senior Program Manager at Intuit, focusing on educational initiatives to protect sensitive data. Additional experience includes senior management positions in corporate communications at Sony Electronics and media relations roles at Creaxion, Yamaha Motor Corporation, and MCI. Rick holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Loyola University Chicago and has pursued further education at UC San Diego and the SANS Technology Institute.
