Elif Kalan MA, MSc is a seasoned professional specializing in product operations and conflict resolution, currently serving as a Senior Product Operations Expert at amfori, where management of the amfori BSCI operations involves system alignment with ESG contexts and human rights due diligence. With extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and public consultations, Elif has contributed to the revision of the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct and has a strong background in training and consultancy, having worked with organizations such as UN Women and GIZ. As a co-founder of Conflictus, Elif focuses on conflict resolution training, while also being a member of the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network to promote women's involvement in peacemaking. Elif holds an MSc in Political Sociology from The London School of Economics and an MA in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Sabanci University.
