Beatriz Portillo has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience and user interface design. Beatriz is currently working as a Lead User Experience Designer at American Express Global Business Travel since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at AXA Partners as a Senior UX/UI Designer from November 2020 to April 2022, where they solved UI/UX problems and conducted research to improve insurance claims journeys. From January 2018 to May 2020, Beatriz worked at Aviva Asia as a Senior UX/UI Designer, focusing on optimizing customer journeys and leading design efforts for financial adviser products. Before that, they were a Lead Designer (Web and Branding) at Top3 Media from March 2015 to December 2017, where they created web design layouts and executed branding concepts. Beatriz began their career as a Junior Art Director at Verz Design LLP from January 2012 to February 2015, where they designed websites and managed teams.

Beatriz Portillo attended De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Multimedia Arts. In January 2020, they also obtained certifications in "Cybersecurity Awareness: Building Your Cybersecurity Vocabulary" and "The Cybersecurity Threat Landscape" from LinkedIn.
