Vernon C. Murphy, Jr. holds a BSBA in Business/HR from Xavier University and has extensive experience in workforce development and human resources. Currently serving as an HR/Workforce Development Specialist at Amethyst, Inc. since December 2014, Vernon engages clients to foster employment opportunities and collaborates with various stakeholders to implement treatment plans. Previously, Vernon worked as a Staff/Site Coordinator at Acloche' and as a Job Developer/Youth Life Coach at The Neighborhood House, Inc., providing coaching, counseling, and job readiness training.
