Karen Jialin Zhu is a seasoned professional in strategy and mergers & acquisitions, currently serving as Group Head of Strategy and M&A at Ameropa since April 2023, where responsibilities include developing corporate growth strategies and managing multiple M&A projects. Prior to this role, Karen held the position of Investment Director at Tectus SA, focusing on growth equity investments and capital market structuring. From March 2013 to March 2019, Karen was the Corporate Strategy and M&A Lead for Cargill in the EMEA region, overseeing corporate development initiatives across various entities. Earlier in career, Karen worked as a Global Project Lead at A.P. Moller - Maersk. Karen holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from INSEAD, an exchange MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
