Kristela Ramos has extensive experience in environmental health and safety management. Kristela is currently working as the Associate Director of Environmental & DOT Compliance at Amerit Fleet Solutions, where they are responsible for conducting gap analysis of EHS programs, developing EHS risk mapping capabilities, and supporting the implementation of new sites. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior EHS Program Manager at Amerit Fleet Solutions, where they led the development and implementation of key EHS programs.
Before joining Amerit Fleet Solutions, Kristela worked at Genentech as a Senior Safety Health and Environmental (SHE) Specialist / SHE Program Manager from 2015 to 2020. In this role, they ensured compliance with regulatory requirements and managed safety, health, and environmental programs.
Kristela also has experience as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist at The Jackson Laboratory from 2008 to 2015. Here, they developed and implemented EHS programs, managed worker's compensation claims, and oversaw the issuance of permits for new sites.
In addition, Kristela worked at UC Davis as an Instructor at UCD Extension from 2012 to 2013, where they taught courses related to their field. Kristela also gained experience at AMPAC, where they worked as an Associate Process Engineer and later as a Building Engineer/Supervisor. In these roles, they were responsible for the operations, optimization, and oversight of production processes in a cGMP manufacturing environment.

Kristela Ramos earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines. Kristela attended the university from 1999 to 2004.
