Tara Shaffer is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in commercial lending and financial management. Currently serving as Area Executive and SVP of Commercial Lending at AmeriServ Financial Bank since October 2018, Tara has previously held key positions including CFO at Ashland Technologies, INC, and Vice President of Commercial Lending at BB&T (formerly Susquehanna Bank). Tara's career began at Sovereign Bank, where responsibilities included Senior Vice President and Business Banking Team Leader, and evolved through roles such as Vice President, Relationship Manager, and Credit Analyst.
