Kamran Ghani

Director of Accounting and Finance at Amerigo Education

Kamran Ghani has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kamran started their career at SunSource as a Staff Accountant and worked their way up to Assistant Corporate Controller. During their time at SunSource, they also served as a Financial Analyst and a Manager FP&A, where they were responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and due diligence for acquisitions.

Following their tenure at SunSource, Kamran joined PureCircle as a Commercial Financial Controller. In this role, they managed all aspects of accounting and led the monthly closing process and reporting. Kamran implemented improvements to the collections process, reducing days sales outstanding and past-due balances. Kamran worked closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial responsibilities were met across multiple countries.

After their time at PureCircle, Kamran moved on to Hazel Technologies, where they held the positions of Corporate Controller and Director of Global Treasury. As the Corporate Controller, they managed financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, and internal controls. Kamran streamlined the monthly accounting closing process and ensured timely and accurate completion of financial statements. In their role as Director of Global Treasury, Kamran collaborated with various teams to support treasury activities, including entity formation and banking relationships. Kamran established and managed relationships with third parties to support operations in different regions.

Kamran's most recent role is with Amerigo Education, where they serve as the Director of Accounting and Finance. Kamran's work experience demonstrates their expertise in financial management, accounting, reporting, and treasury activities. Kamran has a proven track record of implementing process improvements and establishing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Kamran Ghani completed their Associates in Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Sharjah College from 1994 to 1996. Kamran then pursued further education and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance from Eastern Connecticut State University in 1997. Continuing their academic growth, they attended Lake Forest Graduate School of Management from 2001 to 2003 and earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Executive MBA.
