Mehdi Abid is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles. As Vice President and Co-Founder of Free Cyber Clinic since October 2021, Mehdi has focused on providing affordable cybersecurity consulting to small businesses in the Las Vegas area while managing administrative tasks and collaborating on standard operating procedures. As a Free Cyber Clinic Liaison at America's SBDC since 2021, Mehdi facilitates communication between advisors and clinic staff, develops policies for client interactions, and oversees volunteer management. Prior experience includes serving as a Security Supervisor and Officer at Switch, where Mehdi organized team activities and provided training, as well as serving in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Soldier. Mehdi holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, along with an Associate of Science from the College of Southern Nevada.
