Mary Ellen Gallegos is an experienced educational consultant currently working at the Center for Applied Linguistics since October 2020, while also serving as a retired educator since the same date. With over 50 years dedicated to supporting children and families across the nation, Mary Ellen has held numerous significant positions, including Senior Associate at America's Choice, Inc. and Education Specialist at Pearson School Achievement Services since December 2006. Mary Ellen previously served as the National Projects Manager for Pearson K-12 Learning until December 2020 and held various roles including Executive Director at San Francisco Unified School District and OBE Director at the District of Columbia Public Schools. Mary Ellen's extensive career also includes various leadership roles in Albuquerque Public Schools from 1971 to 1992.
