Rachel Byers has over two decades of experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as a Corporate Trainer and Support Specialist at Americare Plus since March 2014. In this role, Rachel trains new Agency Managers, Coordinators, and Staffing Coordinators, while also providing field support to various agencies. Previously, Rachel managed an in-home personal care agency, overseeing caregiver placements, hiring, payroll, billing, marketing, and compliance with Medicaid and VDH regulations. Prior experience includes serving as a Referral Coordinator at Carilion Clinic from October 2000 to March 2014, where responsibilities included managing outgoing patient referrals and insurance authorizations. Rachel is a graduate of Rockbridge County High School, class of 1998.
