James Sloat is a Mechanical Engineer currently working at Befesa US Zinc Inc. since June 2023. Previous roles include Product Development Engineer and Project Lead at Global Industrial from January 2023 to July 2023, and Product Development Associate from July 2021 to July 2023, where innovative product designs were created, including a new product for the vehicle maintenance sector. James gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Bruker, where design improvements were made for manufacturing efficiency, and at Radiant Energy Systems, Inc., focusing on 3D and 2D modeling and assembly of heating systems. Additionally, James served as a Teaching Assistant in Engineering Graphics at Stevens Institute of Technology, facilitating students' learning in SolidWorks. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, completed in May 2021.
