Robert Braswell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Robert began their career as an Automotive Technician/Service/Attendant at a service station in 1986 and worked there until 1989. Robert then worked as a Staff Reporter at DCI Publishing from September 1989 to May 1991. After that, they worked as a Staff Writer at Capital Cities/ABC, Inc./International Medical News Group from May 1991 to June 1992. From June 1992 to July 1994, they served as an Information Manager at American Trucking Associations, Inc./Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC). In August 1994, they became the Technical Director at American Trucking Associations/Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) and held that position until March 2017. Finally, they took on the role of Executive Director at ATA's Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) in March 2017. Additionally, they have been co-hosting and producing the weekly national radio segment "Tech Talk with TMC" since 2005.
Robert Braswell attended the University of Maryland, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in the College of Life Sciences. Their field of study at the university centered around Microbiology and Chemistry. Prior to this, from 1981 to 1985, they attended Bishop McNamara High School.
