Mitchell Young has worked for three companies in their career. Mitchell began at Osram Sylvania in 1987 as a Production Supervisor and worked there until 2007. In 2009, they became a Farm Manager at Bejo Seeds and stayed until 2013. That year, they began their current job at American Takii Inc where they have held two positions: Eastern Technical Sales Manager and Product Manager for LD Onions, and National Sales Manager for Vegetables. Mitchell currently holds the latter position.

Mitchell Young obtained a bachelor's degree in Aeronautics from Hawthorne College between 1982 and 1986. Later on, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a master's degree in Manufacturing Management from New England College. Additionally, they received a Commercial Pilot Certification and Instrument Rating - ASEL, from NTSB, but the time of obtaining is unknown.
