Maggie Coleman is a seasoned collections specialist with experience in stewardship and management of archival collections. Currently, at the American Swedish Institute since June 2021, Maggie coordinates loans for international exhibitions and supports the material and archival collections. Previously served as a collections assistant, contributing to processing and exhibit installation. In addition, Maggie works as a collections management consultant for Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, where the focus is on populating a new database for the fine art collection. Recent work at the University of Minnesota involved inventorying and cataloging the Stuewer collection of physics-related works. Earlier experience includes an archival internship with Pacific Atrocities Education and a research assistant position on a NEH grant-funded project examining Haitian art. Maggie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Physics from Grinnell College.
