Carla Porter, CST, CSFA, is a skilled surgical professional currently serving as a Certified Surgical First Assistant and Certified Surgical Technologist at American Surgical Professionals since June 2022. Previously, Carla held roles at BayCare Health System as an Endoscopy Technologist and Certified Surgical Technologist, and at Moffitt Cancer Center as a Certified Surgical Technologist. Carla’s hands-on experience includes over 600 hours of clinical rotations covering more than 130 surgical cases across various specialties, including general, DaVinci robotic, laparoscopic, and orthopedic surgeries. Carla's background also includes management positions in customer service at LA Fitness and Publix Super Markets, and extensive training in surgical technology, culminating in an Associate of Science degree from Concorde Career Colleges and Surgical Assisting education at Meridian Institute.
