Mike Grant has a diverse work experience in finance and administration. Mike started their career as a Student Accounts Representative at McIntosh College in 2001. From there, they moved up to the role of Finance Manager before joining American Student Assistance in 2004. At American Student Assistance, Mike held positions such as Senior Financial Analyst, Principal Financial Analyst, Manager of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, and Senior Manager of Financial Systems & Reporting. In 2014, they briefly worked as the Manager of IS Finance & Administration at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center before returning to American Student Assistance. Mike then held the roles of Manager of Financial Systems & Reporting and Senior Manager of Financial Systems & Auditing. In 2022, Mike joined Perkins School for the Blind as the Director of Finance Process Improvement, before returning to American Student Assistance as the Director of Finance.
Mike Grant has a diverse education history. Mike earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Global Studies and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating in 2003. Before pursuing their undergraduate degree, Mike completed an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Accounting and Taxation from McIntosh College from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained a certificate in Project Management from Cornell University, although the specific timeframe of completion is unknown.
