Laura H. has extensive experience in marketing and communications. Laura started their career as a Marketing Manager at the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) in 1999 and was later promoted to Senior Director of Marketing. In 2011, they became an Independent Marketing/Communications Consultant, providing services to associations, nonprofits, and small business clients. In 2015, Laura joined the Institute for In Vitro Sciences, Inc. as their Marketing Manager, where they managed marketing and PR activities. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Marketing Director at The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Laura H. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism (Public Relations) from the University of Maryland. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Association Executive (CAE) from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in June 2021.
