Bona Benjamin is an experienced professional in the field of pharmacy, currently serving as the Director of Medication-Use Quality Improvement at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) since January 2007. In this role, Bona has contributed significantly to medication quality initiatives and previously coordinated the Drug Shortages Web Resource Center. Prior to joining ASHP, Bona worked as the Pharmacy Quality Officer at the Mark O. Hatfield Clinical Research Center, National Institutes of Health, from November 1997 to December 2006. Bona holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Louisiana Monroe, which was completed between 1966 and 1974.
