Gerald Hefferman, MD, currently serves as a Neuroradiology Fellow Physician and previously as a Radiology Resident Physician and Chief Resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital since July 2020. In addition, Gerald is a Clinical Fellow in Radiology and Medicine at Harvard Medical School since June 2019 and an Adjunct Professor and Research Engineer at the University of Rhode Island since May 2011, focusing on innovative sensor technologies in engineering. Gerald's research contributions include work on myoelectrically-controlled prosthetics and various peer review roles for multiple scientific journals. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Brown University and a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute, supplemented by postbaccalaureate studies at Harvard Extension School.
