Veena Radhakrishnan

Senior Director, Learning Design and Innovation at American Society of Addiction Medicine

Veena Radhakrishnan, EdD, currently serves as the Senior Director of Learning Innovation at the American Society of Addiction Medicine, a position held since March 2019 after previously holding the title of Director of Learning Innovation. In this role, Radhakrishnan provides strategic direction and leadership for ASAM's e-learning and digital products. Prior to ASAM, Radhakrishnan was the Senior Director of Training Strategy & Design at ISPE from November 2018 to March 2019, overseeing classroom training and online education. Radhakrishnan also worked at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School from January 2016 to October 2018 as an Instructional Designer and Project Manager, leading the instructional design for online MBA and MS programs. Additionally, Radhakrishnan served as an Instructional Technologist at Bowie State University from January 2015 to January 2016, managing the development and delivery of online and blended courses. Radhakrishnan earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Instructional Design for Online Teaching and Learning from Johns Hopkins University School of Education between 2015 and 2018.
