Melvin J. Dubnick is a distinguished academic and public administration expert with extensive experience in higher education and professional associations. Currently serving as a Fellow at the National Academy of Public Administration since September 2010, Melvin has also held the position of Professor Emeritus at Rutgers University since June 2005 and was a Professor of Political Science at the University of New Hampshire until May 2020. A life member of the American Society for Public Administration since 1974, Melvin has contributed significantly to the field through roles such as Co-Editor in Chief of the Encyclopedia of Public Administration & Public Policy from 2013 to 2015 and Chair of the ASPA Ethics Section from 2011 to 2013. Melvin's academic credentials include a MA and PhD in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a BS with honors in Political Science from Colorado State University Pueblo. Membership in the American Political Science Association and the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration further underscores Melvin's notable contributions to public administration and political science.
