Carrie Halpern is a seasoned communications and marketing professional currently serving as the Senior Communications & Marketing Manager at the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) since December 2019. With prior experience as a Director of Publications & Magazine Editor at ARTBA from 1999 to 2006, Carrie has a strong background in overseeing the design of various print materials and communicating effectively with members. Additionally, Carrie worked as a Zumba Instructor for both Fairfax County Park Authority and XSport Fitness from 2012 to 2019, and operated as an Independent Consultant, specializing in layout design and print marketing from 2007 to 2019. Carrie holds a BS in Mass Communications from James Madison University, attained in 1999.
