Gail Drescher holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland. Currently serving as a Science Writer at ICF since June 2021, Gail also has extensive editorial experience as a Technical Editor for the RESPIRATORY CARE Journal with the American Association for Respiratory Care since November 2013 and previously worked as an Editorial Assistant for the same journal. Professional background includes roles as a Clinical Specialist and in Research, Quality Improvement, and Education in Pulmonary Services at MedStar Washington Hospital Center since March 1998. Additional writing experience includes contributions to the National HIV/AIDS Database at Aspen Systems Corporation and involvement with the NHLBI National Asthma Education Program at the University Research Corporation. Prior teaching experience includes a position as a Secondary School Teacher at Dungloggin Middle School from January to May 1991.
