Matthew Sonnenfeld currently serves as the Interim General Manager at Goodspeed Musicals and holds the position of Manager, Staff and Faculty Affairs at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. With a background in theater management, Matthew oversees hiring, promotion, and retirement processes while supporting HR management for guest artists at Yale Repertory Theatre. Additional roles include Management Associate at American Repertory Theater and Strategic Plan Project Manager at Seattle Rep. Matthew’s previous experience includes serving as Associate Managing Director at the David Geffen School of Drama, Company Manager at Yale Repertory Theatre, and Managing Director at Yale Cabaret. Matthew holds an MFA in Theater Management from the David Geffen School of Drama and a BA in Literary and Cultural Studies from William & Mary.
