Gerald Phan currently serves as a Lean Coach for operations at RENOLIT, where responsibilities include deploying Lean philosophy to a workforce of 150 employees in a medical film extrusion plant. Prior experience includes a role as a Process Engineer at Beyond Meat, where production trials for plant-based products were led and designed using Lean tools for process improvements. At Ecolab, Gerald held several positions, notably Principal Process Engineer in the Pilot Plant, where new hand sanitizers were delivered during the COVID-19 onset, and Senior Process Engineer, overseeing significant production launches and technology transfers within the Food & Beverage Division. Gerald holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
