Matthew Vece is a legal and regulatory professional with extensive experience in financial and tax policy. Currently serving as Manager of Financial & Tax Counsel at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association since August 2017, Matthew specializes in tax and financial regulatory policy. Prior experience includes a Summer Associate position at Saxe Doernberger & Vita, P.C., and a Legal Intern role at the United States Attorney's Office. Matthew began a career in public service as a Legislative Intern for the Connecticut General Assembly, where responsibilities included constituent outreach and research on proposed legislation. Matthew holds a Master of Laws in Taxation and a Doctor of Law from Georgetown University Law Center, as well as a Bachelorā€™s degree from the University of Connecticut.
