Emily Mu is a dedicated professional with experience in behavioral therapy and research, currently serving as a Registered Behavioral Technician at San Diego Applied Behavior Analysis, LLC. since November 2023. Simultaneously, Emily has been a Research Assistant at the SDSU Research Foundation, contributing to the validation of a Mandarin sentence comprehension tool for bilingual individuals with aphasia and presenting at notable conferences. As a long-standing volunteer with Friends of Children with Special Needs, Emily has spread awareness on neurodiversity and taught essential skills to children with Autism, while also facilitating fundraising initiatives. Previous experiences include teaching and mentoring Taiwanese elementary students in English and serving as a Teaching Assistant at Berryessa Chinese Community School, where Emily supported students in passing the AP Chinese exam. Emily is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at San Diego State University, expected to graduate in May 2025.
