Alyssa Dougherty is the Manager of Nutrition Science & Education Department at the American Nutrition Association®. Alyssa is also the Chief Advisor for Nutrition and Mental Wellbeing at FOCUS Foundation – Carmel Schools and a Health and Wellness Writer at WellTheory. Previously, Alyssa was a Clinical Nutritionist in private practice and worked as a Research Associate at the Council on Foreign Relations and Legislative Research Assistant for Senator Barbara Boxer. Alyssa holds a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University and a Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition & Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health.
