Sean C. Carroll is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in international development and humanitarian efforts. Currently serving as President & CEO of Anera since September 2017, Sean leads initiatives aimed at improving health, education, and economic development in the Middle East. In addition, Sean holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Anera Ventures LLC and serves as Treasurer and Board Officer for the Partnership for Quality Medical Donations. Sean's previous roles include Chairman of Creative Frontiers Inc., where the focus is on behavior change and development communications, and significant positions at Creative Associates International, USAID, and the Club de Madrid. Notably, Sean's background includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff at USAID under the Obama Administration and coordinating campaign events and finance for Obama for America in Spain. Sean holds a Master's in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
