Alaa Mahmoud serves as the Education Field Coordinator at Anera since March 2021, managing the implementation of various educational programs in collaboration with over 10 local partners in Saida and Tyre. Responsibilities include proposal writing, coordination with the Grants and Finance department, and monitoring teaching methodologies across multiple formats. Prior to this role, Alaa worked as a Facilitator at Blue Mission Organization from December 2019 to September 2020, where planning and organizing sessions for beneficiaries were key tasks. Alaa also gained research experience as a Research Intern at the American University of Beirut in August 2019, focusing on systematic reviews in healthcare decision-making. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Neuropsychology from the Lebanese University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the same institution.
