Gail Mason has extensive work experience in the technology and banking industries. Gail served as the Senior Director of Technology and Engineering, Sr. Vice President at American National Bank of Texas, where they led distributed engineering teams and was responsible for all aspects of development and delivery. Gail also built and developed an agile engineering organization. Prior to this role, Gail was the Director of Enterprise Applications, Sr. Vice President at the same company, where they established a full-service application support framework and managed multiple engineering teams. Before joining American National Bank of Texas, Gail worked as the Director of Information Technology, Sr. Vice President, where they demonstrated exemplary execution skills and engaged cross-functional technical and business teams. Prior to their work in the banking industry, Gail served as the Logistics Manager/Technology Manager at Scotsman Ice Systems and as the Customer Service Manager at Amerisure Insurance.

Gail Mason earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Management and a second BA in Communication Arts from Austin College, which they attended from 1983 to 1986. In 1996, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management of Information Systems at The University of Dallas. Additionally, Gail has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including being certified as a Certified Agile Leadership and a Certified Scrum Master by the Scrum Alliance in 2017. Gail also holds the Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CGEIT) certification from ISACA, which they obtained in 2012. In 2006, Gail became a Project Management Professional (PMP)® through the Project Management Institute. Gail has also pursued certifications such as CFCP - Certified Functional Continuity Planner and ITIL V3 Foundation, ITIL V3 Service Design, ITIL V3 Service Operation, ITIL v3 Service Transition from institutions including DRI International and AXELOS Global Best Practice.
