Kevin Shaw has extensive experience in meteorology and cartography, with a career spanning from 1974 to the present. Since 1985, Kevin has served as the Montgomery County MD/DE Coordinator for ACON, coordinating weather data for Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C. Additionally, Kevin holds the position of Science Fair Coordinator for the DC Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and is the MD/DE ACON Coordinator. Previous roles include Chief Observer for Gaithersburg Maryland Weather Observing and nautical cartographer for the U.S. Department of Commerce, where Kevin managed chart updates for the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
