Sushmita Subedi, PhD, has extensive experience in the field of education research and policy. Sushmita currently serves as a Senior Researcher at the American Institutes for Research, where they lead large-scale research and evaluation projects focused on educational equity, school and district improvement, teacher and principal preparation, and professional development. Sushmita also takes charge of knowledge sharing efforts within projects and with clients, as well as leads business development efforts. Prior to this role, they worked as a Researcher at the same organization.
Additionally, Sushmita has served as an Education Policy Fellow at the Institute for Educational Leadership, where they contributed to education policy initiatives. Sushmita Subedi, PhD, earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Policy Analysis from UMass Boston, completing their studies from 2015 to 2020.
