Rebecca (Remy) Wang has a diverse work experience in various roles. Rebecca (Remy) is currently working as a Research Associate/Quantitative Programmer at the American Institutes for Research since July 2022. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UMass Amherst School of Public Health & Health Sciences from January 2022 to May 2022.

In 2021, Rebecca worked as an Epidemiological Data Analyst at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September to January, and as an Impact Analyst at Broadsight from May to December. Rebecca (Remy) also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UMass Amherst School of Public Health & Health Sciences from January to May.

Rebecca's work experience includes roles such as a Grader at the College of Information Studies (UMD iSchool), University of Maryland from August to December 2020, and as a Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from May to August 2020. At UNC Greensboro, they designed and coded simulations in R, developed new confidence intervals, presented findings, and authored a scientific report.

Rebecca (Remy) also worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Mount Holyoke College from November 2017 to August 2020. As a Research Assistant, they contributed to statistical research projects, and as a Teaching Assistant, they provided assistance to students and graded assignments. Rebecca also served as a note taker and grader during their time at Mount Holyoke College.

Rebecca has gained additional research experience as a JPSM Junior Fellow/Research Assistant Intern at the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) from May to August 2019, and as a Summer Research Assistant at UMass Amherst School of Public Health & Health Sciences from May to August 2018. In their role at UMass Amherst, they helped develop a Bayesian hierarchical model for stillbirth rates and presented their work at a student research conference at Amherst College.

Rebecca (Remy) Wang completed their Bachelor's Degree in Statistics and Psychology from Mount Holyoke College from 2016 to 2020. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Biostatistics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2021 to 2022.

Rebecca also obtained additional certifications during their education. In May 2020, they completed the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) for Social and Behavioral Sciences program offered by the CITI Program. Additionally, they obtained the Introduction to the Tidyverse certification from DataCamp in January 2019. It is unclear when they obtained the Introduction to R certification from DataCamp.
