Charlie Carter serves as the President of the American Institute of Steel Construction since December 2016, following a tenure as Vice President and Chief Structural Engineer within the same organization. Academic credentials include a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, earned between 2005 and 2009, as well as two degrees from Penn State University: a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering obtained in 1991 and a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering completed in 1990.
