Kayla Stephens

Kayla Stephens, MPH, is an experienced professional in public health and education with a strong background in community outreach and youth engagement. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Society of Physics Students at the American Institute of Physics since January 2019, Kayla manages student outreach programs and develops educational content. Previously, Kayla worked as a Community Education Specialist and Health Educator for the City of Alexandria, where responsibilities included planning prevention programs and providing health education counseling. Additional experience includes roles as a certified personal trainer, AVID Elective Teacher, and high school science teacher, alongside participation in Teach For America. Kayla holds a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Michigan State University.
