Elise King is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture capital and women's health. Currently serving as Managing Director at the American Heart Association since September 2024, Elise is involved in the Series A/B women's health fund and venture studio. As a Steering Committee Member at All Raise since June 2023, Elise contributes to promoting the success of female founders and funders. Involvement with Empire State Development as a Roundtable on Accelerators Committee Member began in January 2023, focusing on enhancing New York's venture ecosystem. Previously, Elise held key roles at Human Ventures, including Principal and Program Director of the venture studio, and was a Senior Associate at Oxeon Partners, specializing in healthcare technology investments. Early career experience includes co-founding DoGoodBuyUs, a marketplace for socially responsible products. Elise holds a BA in American Studies and Political Science from Barnard College.
