Annie Yu currently serves as the National Senior Manager for Policy Research at the American Heart Association, focusing on the Voices for Healthy Kids initiative since November 2024. Prior to this role, Annie held the position of Policy Innovation Manager at United States of Care from June 2022 to November 2024. Experience includes serving as a Graduate Consultant at the NC Department of Health and Human Services and as an intern with United States of Care's Building Blocks of Health Reform project. Earlier roles also comprise Data and Policy Analyst at Acumen, LLC, and Associate for Health Policy Research at the American Lung Association. Annie began the professional journey with internships at various organizations, including the Alliance for Health Reform and the Berkeley Food & Housing Project. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health and Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
