Michael James Logan (MJ) Kite is an experienced mental health professional specializing in substance abuse counseling and community health services. Currently, as Program Manager at Eldorado Community Service Centers & American Health Services since July 2019, Michael oversees the daily operations of a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) clinic. Concurrently, Michael manages a caseload of 32-35 patients requiring outpatient methadone maintenance and detoxification services. Michael's background includes various counseling roles at organizations such as Inland Valley Recovery Center and Behavioral Health Services, Inc. Academic qualifications include a Research Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University, among other degrees in human services and addiction counseling.
