Samuel Konig currently serves as the Director of Strategic Philanthropy for the Northeast Region at American Friends of Magen David Adom since August 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Northeast Director at American Friends of Bar-Ilan University from November 2017 to August 2023, and Director of Development for Major Gifts at Hillel International from May 2015 to November 2017. Samuel held the position of Executive Director at Towson University Hillel from August 2012 to May 2015 and served as Director at Hillel Canada from August 2009 to July 2012. Additional roles include events coordinator at the Max and Tessie Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies at Carleton University and various program coordinator positions at Hillel organizations in Ottawa and Montreal. Samuel began a career in youth leadership as Youth Director at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree from Carleton University in Russian, Central European, East European and Eurasian Studies, and a Bachelor's degree from McGill University in German Language and Literature and Jewish Studies. Education was completed at Clifton College and Krebs skole.
