Darren Shell currently serves as Grants Manager at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention since December 2023. Previously, Darren has held multiple roles at Cone Health, including Integrated Facility Design Manager and IFD LEAN Specialist, focusing on optimizing construction processes and workspaces. As an author at Three Seventeen from October 2019 to December 2020, Darren contributed to literary projects, while also serving as Program Aide for the Boy Scouts of America, leading various after-school and in-school packs. Darren's earlier career includes significant positions such as Product Life Cycle Manager at Oiles America Corporation, where leadership of cross-functional teams was integral, and Program Manager roles at Takata and GDX Automotive, overseeing the development and launch of products for OEM automakers. Darren began the professional journey at JTEKT North America Corporation as TRB Manufacturing Manager, managing extensive production operations. Educationally, Darren earned a BS in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Western Carolina University between 1989 and 1993.
