David H. has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. David currently holds the position of Vice President of Accounting and Finance at the American Fence Company, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Morgan Taylor Homes from 2021 to 2022, where they were responsible for overseeing various departments and attending industry conferences to build lender relationships.

Before joining Morgan Taylor Homes, David worked at The New Home Company Inc. from 2018 to 2021. David held the roles of Land Acquisitions and Finance Director during their time there. As Land Acquisitions, they played a pivotal role in forming a strategic plan and successfully placing over 250 lots under control, leading to projected revenue growth. As Finance Director, they contributed to the successful turnaround of a division and implemented pricing strategies that significantly increased gross margins.

Prior to their tenure at The New Home Company Inc., David worked at Shea Homes from 2014 to 2018. David held the positions of Finance Manager and Senior Financial Analyst. During their time as Finance Manager, they proposed and implemented the consolidation of finance teams and played a role in system-generated cost of sales process. As Senior Financial Analyst, they managed financial aspects of multiple assets and ensured compliance with investor and lender requirements.

David's earlier work experience includes roles at FactSet Research Systems where they served as a Specialist, Senior Consultant, and Fixed Income Consultant from 2011 to 2014.

David H. completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) with a major in Finance from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management, from 2007 to 2011.

David then pursued further studies at Grand Canyon University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Business Analytics from 2016 to 2018.

In 2018, David enrolled in Udacity and successfully completed a Nanodegree in Computer Programming.

In addition to their formal education, David also obtained two certifications from Udacity. In January 2018, they received the "Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship" certification, and in February 2019, they obtained the certification for "Front-End Web Developer Nanodegree" from the same institution.
