Yvette Smith is an accomplished diversity and inclusion leader with extensive experience in various organizational roles. Currently serving as Vice President of Inclusion & Diversity Integration at American Express since March 2021, Yvette has previously held multiple leadership positions at Microsoft, including Director of Diversity & Inclusion for Global Communities and Outreach. Prior to Microsoft, Yvette worked at Prudential Financial as Director of Diversity & Inclusion, providing strategies and solutions for a global financial services institution. Yvette's career also includes significant contributions at Avis Budget Group, where the first diversity and inclusion office was established under their guidance, along with previous roles focused on affirmative action and equal employment opportunity. Yvette holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University - Newark.
