Ravikanth Erramilli is an accomplished technology leader with over two decades of experience in software engineering and cloud platform development. Currently, as Vice President and Distinguished Engineer at American Express since May 2011, Ravikanth oversees the global product and platform engineering teams focusing on the company's hybrid cloud platform. Previous roles at American Express include Engineering Director for Cloud Platform and Senior Engineer, where significant contributions were made to innovative projects using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenStack. Prior to joining American Express, Ravikanth served as Engineering Manager at Cognizant, providing IT consulting services, and as Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at Seranova. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from BITS, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from JNTU, Kakinada.
