Alok Nigam is an accomplished technology and information security professional with extensive experience in risk management and compliance across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology at American Express since February 2018, Alok has held various leadership roles, including Director of Information Security and Bank Information Security Officer. Prior to this, Alok was the Risk and Compliance Lead at EdgeVerve, where significant achievements included leading ISO 27001 certification without non-compliances and establishing resilience through ISO 22301. Alok has also contributed to business continuity planning and cyber security at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP, and began a career in audit and assurance with Deloitte. Alok holds a Harvard certificate in Leadership Excellence and dual degrees in B.Tech and MBA from the ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management.
