Andii Layton possesses extensive experience in educational leadership and research, currently serving as Past Chair of the Graduate Student Council for the American Educational Research Association while also holding the position of Chair Elect. Prior roles include Graduate Assistant at the Pennsylvania School Study Council, where Andii contributed to improving educational practices, and Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University's Center for the Study of Higher Education. Andii held key positions in various organizations, including Manager of College and Career Success at Phoenix Charter Academy Network, where a successful dual enrollment partnership was established, and Program Manager at the University of Michigan, focusing on college access programs. Additional experience includes supervising social work trainees at Eastern Michigan University and implementing community education initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts from the University of Chicago and current pursuit of a Doctor of Philosophy in K-12 Education Leadership at Michigan State University.
