Kauri Black serves as the Associate Commissioner for Broadcasting and Digital Programming at the American Athletic Conference since October 10, 2022, where the focus is on reimagining the role to enhance value through process improvements and opportunity identification. Prior to this position, Kauri held various roles within the organization, including Senior Director for Broadcasting and Digital Programming, Director of Broadcast Scheduling, and Assistant Director of Broadcast Scheduling. Kauri began a professional career as a Graduate Assistant in Athletic Administration at the University of South Carolina. Educational accomplishments include a Master's degree in Data Science and Analytics and a Graduate Certificate in the same field from Elmhurst University, alongside a Master's degree in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina, a Master's degree in Mathematics and Science Education from The University of Tulsa, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law from Northeastern University.
